On 10th 14th April, The End of The Line will take over The Engine Room at The Exchange Art Gallery, Penzance for 5 days, as part of the gallery's New Works Programme,

Focused on the idea of skill sharing, the collective will turn the space into an 'ideas arena', a creative swap shop where thoughts and ideas are produced, offered, accepted and exchanged.

The project will culminate in a final evening event – a melting pot of everything that’s happened over the last 5 days.

We are looking for artists, performers, creatives, and anyone with a passion for sharing skills to be involved and run events in the programme.

Events will be as varied as arts based discussion, participant based lectures delivered by enthusiasts, show and tell, interactive artworks, performance and music.

This is the ideal opportunity to try out any audience led ideas with the help of The End of The Line!

Throughout the project we will develop an accompanying publication, providing a more permanent form of presenting ideas.

Each contributing individual will have the opportunity to contribute a page about their work and response to the project.

For full details on the project please contact:

It sounds like fun.

Will you be keeping this blog posted with people's ideas and contributions or will it just be email based?

I'm a Somerset (Exmoor) based online author and folk musician. Perhaps I could jump in my camper van and come down and join in then fun.

Tell me more :-)
